Monbijou Hotel: consolidating distribution with a single CRS partner

Part of the Sunrise Hotel Group, Monbijou Hotel is a boutique establishment that embodies elegance and hospitality in the heart of Berlin. To streamline its distribution strategy and enhance operational efficiency, the hotel sought a single, long-term CRS partner.

Challenges: a fragmented ecosystem

Before consolidating its distribution strategy, Monbijou Hotel faced several key challenges:

  • Lack of centralisation: the absence of a unified system made it difficult to maintain rate parity, manage inventory efficiently, and optimise pricing strategies. On top of that, managing reservations and distribution through multiple providers led to inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and increased operational complexity.
  • Limited scalability: the hotel’s existing setup was not flexible enough to support future growth and evolving guest expectations.
  • Inefficient global distribution: expanding reach through GDS and other distribution channels was challenging due to the lack of a fully integrated system.
