Contact Hôtels chose D-EDGE to build its new-generation Reservation System
France's leading voluntary chain of more than 300 hotels adopts D‑EDGE technology and connectivity.
D-EDGE, a SaaS provider with a combination of technical excellence with digital marketing expertise for hoteliers, announces its partnership with Contact Hôtels. The chain of more than 300 independent 2 to 4-star hotels in France has chosen D-EDGE to accompany them in their growth and accelerate their digital transformation.
With this agreement, D-EDGE will provide Contact Hôtels with a complete distribution platform with:
- The connectivity to the Smart Channel Manager and its ever-expanding network of connected partners. Each hotel within the chain will now have access to more than 500 third-party solutions and distribution channels: Online Agencies, Tour Operators, Tourist Offices, GDS, etc.
- The connection to the Smart Booking Engine to develop direct sales for Contact Hotels.
- The implementation of a fully automated and secure payment solution, making the Contact Hôtels’ website a true e-commerce platform.
Through this new technological architecture, the 300 Contact Hotels will offer their customers and prospects an enriched e-commerce experience and extend their presence with distributors they did not have access to until now.
The large ecosystem of partners developed by D-EDGE, and especially its strong local networks, was crucial in Contact Hôtels’ decision. As the chain consists of independent establishments, the network wanted its member hotels to retain their individuality, especially in their choice of sales channels – while at the same time having the possibility of expanding their distribution specifically in the domestic market.
